What a wonderful opportunity to go and spend some vacation time with friends at the beach. Sure I know, I live at the beach so why on Earth would I want to go and vacation at another one??? Well, simply said – Because it is Beautiful there! Although I must say, I am grateful to live on a small island (well near it) and even more grateful at how the community has tried to stop development as it happened down in Daytona and south of it. There was one skyrise condo after the next and made me have a better appreciation for our planning commission in keeping the island a little more natural looking. Hey, at least we have trees. Ponce Inlet probably even had them at one time.
Anyway, that’s beside the fact. I was invited by the Bland family to come and hang out with them for a couple of days. After all, Emma had her BFF with her, so why couldn’t the adults have their BFF too??? I saw no reason why not. So, I packed up my camera gear and had SUCH a wonderful time down there. Sat on the beach without a care in the world, blended some daiquiri’s, played frisbee and four-square… it just didn’t get much better that that. On the last night of being there, I decided to break out the camera and got some pretty neat shots that I believe captured the essence of their vacation.
