BIO

A native of St. Simons Island, GA, Debbie Curran began her photography and arts career at an early age with her mother’s Canon F-1 and Nikromat cameras. Though initially self-taught in film, she is actively involved in digital photography and is continuing her advancement under award winning photographer, Randall Hollis.

Debbie has earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from Georgia Southern University as well as an undergraduate focus in broadcasting. It was while working with Barefoot Video Production as a videographer and MAP International as a webmaster that the once abandoned hobby of photography began to usher back into her life.

She is actively photographing special events such as weddings, landscape portraits, rehearsal dinners, senior casual photos and family events. There are many other occasions such as pets, pregancy, children etc. that are ideal for photographic moments.

She is a member of the Glynn Arts Association and is actively involved in displaying her art in local venues and abroad.
